P.H.E.N.'s Clinical Clerkships are designed to teach medical students & graduates (MD, DO, IMG)  the fundamentals of clinical examination, evaluation, and care.  Our Clinical Clerkships provide resources for application of medical knowledge obtained during didactic training.  Our goal is to prepare students for matching with a Residency Program.

The Physician Hospital Education Network (P.H.E.N.) bridges the gap between Medical Schools and Clinical Rotation Sites in the US.

P.H.E.N is a network of Hospitals, Clinics, Physician Practices and Health Care Professionals that provide clinical rotation sites for M3 and M4 International Medical Students, IMG's and DO Students within the U.S.

P.H.E.N. provides a comprehensive program that utilizes both inpatient and outpatient clinical rotations over a 4 to 12 week period.

Clinical Clerkships help to prepare for board examinations while meeting requirements for Residency Training.

During Training

During Training, Students are under the supervision of practicing physicians.

P.H.E.N. has established affiliations with ACGME teaching hospitals.  These affiliations are the cornerstone of our program.  They offer us the ability to provide our students with the latest in standardized training.  Our affiliations provide a competitive advantage to our students for matching into residency programs.

During Training Students can expect to: (depending on type of clerkship and preceptor availability)

  • Record Patient History

  • Complete Patient Physical Examinations

  • Manage Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
