P.H.E.N. program requires our students and IMGs to have completed their studies in Basic Sciences.

IMG and International Medical Student  Requirements:​

M3 and M4

• Medicine (MD)

• Osteopathic Medicine (DO)

• International Medical Graduate (IMG)

  •  (MBBS, Doctor of Medicine, MS, D.M., McH)

To Apply to P.H.E.N. 

 

Provide the following:

• A completed application

• A cover letter detailing desired clerkship rotations

• A curriculum vitae

• Documentation of up-to-date immunization (including influenza  during flu season (Oct-March)

• A recent photograph for identification

After Application is Accepted

 

If you are accepted to P.H.E.N.'s program, we may require the following:

• A copy of passport and valid visa (IMGs)

• Proof of Malpractice insurance **(exceptions)**see below

• TOEFL score report (IMGs)  (if applicable)

• ECFMG number (IMGs)​ 

• P.H.E.N.  requires all applicants to verify credentials through  ECFMG's EPIC program​

Students need to have either successfully completed the USMLE (United States Medical Licensing Examination) STEP 1 testing, or have a date scheduled to take the USMLE STEP 1.
